Costa Rica protects a third of its land as Reserves and National Parks. Most of this protected land is open to visitors who can enjoy stunning landscapes, lush vegetation, energizing waterfalls, birds and life in its primordial state. Hundreds of well maintained trails can take you deep into the magic of the tropical forests with just a few steps.
Our walking and hiking tours:
Introduce an educational approach focused on ecology in its original definition of learning about the relationships between living organisms and their environment
Try to support the local communities we visit. For example, we promote visiting the Dendrobates Rainforest Reserve, owned and protected by the community of El Bosque, 7 km south of La Fortuna
Our tours will take groups of no more than 8 hikers per guide
Each tour group is composed of people who understand the same language. No translation is required
